Events
As we no longer receive grant aid from the Borough Council and this year face severe cuts in County Council funding, Nottinghamshire facing the highest cuts in England, we have had to begin running fundraising activities this year if we are going to be able to continue to help local people in Broxtowe.

Please help us by supporting our fundraising activities at Oban House—A list of the dates we are running activities on can be found below.

If you would like to Volunteer or just call in to find out more about the work we do, then please pop into the centre. Visitors are always welcome.

We are located next to the main Beeston Post Office, opposite Beeston Parish Church.


Upcoming Events
In the coming months we are looking to run the following events. Unless noted otherwise the following events are all being ran at Oban House, Beeston. The funds raised by these events are used to help Voluntary Action Broxtowe in our continued work to support local people.


Charity Book Fair
Monday, 1st August until Friday, 5th August
We have Hundreds of Second-hand books for sale, with paperbacks from 50p and hardback from £1. Feel free just to pop in and have a browse.
